Birder
I have been negligent in getting this review posted from our visit in February, 2025. Ramsey Canyon Cabins and Bird Sanctuary is my new favorite place. Like many people, we drove up to the Preserve and were a bit disappointed in the birds. We stopped in to check out the Bird Sanctuary and were stunned by how wonderful it is. The trails, the feeders, the birds and other wildlife, the plentiful seating, and the wonderful hosts Jen and Greg are all top notch. My wife and I are snowbirds from Idaho. We bounce around to different parks and campgrounds. Once we visited here we changed our itinerary to come back and camp for 4 nights. The serenity of this place at night rejuvenates the soul. I highly recommend a visit and/or stay here and support the effort that Jen and Greg have put in to make this a true Sanctuary for birds...and humans.

This is one of the rare places where 5 stars are simply not enough. I spent 3 days in one of thier rv spaces , the amount of love this couple has put into their property is incredible, walking thier serene trails fills the soul with joy, the sheer amount of birds, coatimundi, deer and turkeys just add to the magic. I fell in love with this haven of peaceful tranquility, thank you
So Glad We Stayed Here
We set up our small tab trailer in campsite #2. So glad we stayed here: we drove down from Montana a couple of weeks late for the bird migration but the feeders allowed us to see so many birds that were new to us. Good access to Ramsey and Ash Canyons and Coronado National Memorial. Would definitely stay again.
