Site #1 Features & Camper Requirements

Our premium, back-in RV sites are designed for smaller, self-contained rigs looking for an immersive glamping experience in a pristine mountain canyon setting:

• Electrical Hookup: Includes dedicated 30AMP electric service. Need an adapter?
• Rig Size Limit: MAX camper/vehicle length of 24 feet (back-in only).
• No Water/Septic Hookups: This is a dry-utility site for fluids. Freshwater filling stations are nearby at Veterans Memorial Park and waste dump stations are available at Valero and Circle K fueling stations.
• On-Site Facilities: RV guests have step-away access to a very clean, shared outdoor portable restroom and an outdoor hand/face washing station with potable running water.
• Cozy Outdoor Upgrade: Want to enjoy the crisp mountain air? You can select our Propane Fire Pit Add-On at checkout—perfect for relaxing outside on chilly Arizona mornings and evenings.

Ramsey Canyon's unique "Sky Island" environment brings incredible biodiversity literally right to your campsite year-round. Our guests and visitors frequently tell us they spot more birds and wildlife right here on our grounds than at the public preserves!

Well known as the Hummingbird Capital of the US, 15 species frequent the area and we have hosted 14 distinct hummingbird species right here on our property! • Daytime Wildlife: Watch Coues whitetail deer and Gould’s wild turkeys roam freely across the property every single day.

• Peak Hummingbird Season: Experience more hummingbirds than you can imagine from March, April, May, July, August and September! Hummingbirds are here year round.

• Hike the Huachuca Mountains: We are located just a short 0.25-mile walk from the world-renowned Ramsey Canyon Preserve and the Hamburg Trailhead connecting into the Coronado National Forest. (Please note: The Preserve is closed on Tuesdays and Wednesdays.)
• Brown Canyon Ranch: Located just one mile down the road, offering exceptional mountain biking, hiking, and different birding spots.
• Complimentary Trail Shuttle: Don't want to unhook your tow vehicle or drive your gear to the local trailheads? We are pleased to offer our guests a complimentary local shuttle service.
• Perfect Southern Arizona Day Trips: Take an easy drive to discover the wild-west history of Tombstone, the vibrant art scene of Bisbee, the breathtaking rock formations of Chiricahua National Monument, or the premier tasting rooms of Sonoita Wine Country.

🚫 Strict Property Guidelines & Camper Policies To protect our delicate wildlife environment, respect fellow campers, and accommodate the extreme allergies of our owners and cleaning staff, we strictly enforce the following rules:

• Adults Only: No children under the age of 13 are allowed on the property at any time.
• No Animals: No pets or animals of any kind are permitted on the property at any time.
• No Smoking or Open Flames: We are a strictly non-smoking property. NO wood fires or generators are allowed at any time due to extreme canyon fire danger.
• Firm Check-In Window: Self check-in is strictly from 2:00 PM to 7:00 PM. Out of respect for our neighbors and other guests, absolutely no check-ins are permitted after 7:00 PM. Please read your check-in email thoroughly prior to arrival.
• Pre-Approved Visitors Only: Any and all day guests or visitors must be pre-approved. Visitor fees are $10 per guest, and all visitors must adhere strictly to day-guest rules and hours.
• Rates: Peak rates apply from March 1st through May 30th.
